sparked by a friendship with café binnenvisser, we started baking in 2022. what began as an idea grew into a bakery built on tradition, simplicity, and a hospitality mindset. inspired by the craft of sourdough, we use time-honored techniques to create bread and pastries with character, served in a setting where people naturally come together.

we enjoy working with people who care about their craft as much as we do. that’s why we work closely with kef, where cheeses come from traditional farms, and lindenhoff, a family-run business just outside amsterdam that supplies us with high-quality meat. our fruits and vegetables come through jimmy loves food, connecting us to local growers who share our appreciation for fresh, seasonal ingredients.
and of course, coffee ties it all together. we regularly taste and test with some of the best roasters—including rum baba, friedhats, manhattan, peoples possession, and andy
